They really encompass all of the feelings you have when you're trying to figure your shit out. The first 30 minutes of this movie are incredible. (Unless, of course, we're stealing our parents' Netflix password, in which case look for the same thing via illegal downloads.) We want information, we want to see other gay people make out, and we want it NOW.įor those of you on this sordid yet satisfying movie marathon journey, we've compiled a viewing list of films that might help you figure out more about yourself, or at least exist as a guilty pleasure that you'll be able to laugh about years later (or even right now).
Most of what we see on television and in movies doesn't show us much past the boy-meets-girl narrative, and so a common response to the 'Oh God I think I'm gay' moment is to Netflix the shit out of any and every big gay movie we can find. In general, realizing that you might be something-other-than-heterosexual can be a little confusing.
